Kobe offered a mix of city views, peaceful shrines, beautiful mountain scenery, and one unforgettable meal. From relaxing at Mount Rokko to enjoying authentic Kobe beef, the city felt calm, charming, and full of memorable moments.

Nara, Japan

Nara was one of the most peaceful day trips during my Japan adventure. I spent the day exploring historic temples, strolling through charming streets, meeting the famous free-roaming deer of Nara Park, and enjoying the calm atmosphere that makes the city so special. From cultural landmarks to quiet moments surrounded by nature, Nara offered a beautiful glimpse into Japan’s rich heritage.

Kyoto felt like stepping into Japan’s rich history and culture. From iconic temples and tranquil gardens to bamboo forests and charming streets, every stop offered a beautiful blend of tradition and nature. It was a journey filled with peaceful moments, breathtaking scenery, and experiences that made me appreciate the timeless beauty of Kyoto.

Osaka brought a vibrant energy to my Japan trip with its mix of famous landmarks, delicious food, and lively city atmosphere. From exploring Dotonbori and tasting Ichiran Ramen to visiting Osaka Castle and enjoying panoramic views from the Umeda Sky Building, every experience showcased why Osaka is one of Japan’s most exciting destinations. The city perfectly blended history, modern attractions, and unforgettable culinary adventures.

Baguio, Philippines
January 6-8, 2026

Our family getaway to Baguio was filled with cool weather, scenic mountain views, delicious food, and meaningful moments together. From relaxing among the pine trees and exploring local markets to enjoying the lively night market and trying unique dishes like Strawberry Sinigang, every experience became a treasured memory. Visiting the iconic Baguio Cathedral added a peaceful and spiritual touch to our trip. The City of Pines reminded us that the best adventures are the ones shared with family.

January 3-4, 2026

Our family camping getaway in Tanay, Rizal gave us a chance to slow down, enjoy nature, and create unforgettable memories together. Surrounded by mountain views, cool weather, and peaceful scenery, we spent quality time sharing stories around the bonfire, relaxing inside our tents, and appreciating the simple joys of outdoor life. It was a refreshing escape from the city and a reminder that some of the best moments are the ones shared with family.

Bohol, Philippines

My Bohol trip was the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and nature. We kicked things off with a chill first night at Solea Coast Resort, enjoying good food and margaritas to ease into island life. The next days were filled with unforgettable experiences—from exploring the iconic Chocolate Hills, riding ATVs through lush landscapes, spotting the adorable tarsier, and cruising along the river, to spending a full day at sea dolphin watching, snorkeling, island hopping, and encountering sea turtles. Ending each day with beautiful sunsets, Bohol truly left me with memories worth keeping and stories worth sharing.

Seoul offered the perfect mix of tradition and modern flair. Seoul offered a mix of tradition and modern energy. From the Gangnam Style Statue and Starfield Library to the quiet moments at Banpo Bridge, the city felt lively and inspiring. The views from Namsan, the hanok streets of Bukchon, and the calm corners of Seoul Forest added balance to the trip. A visit to Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon closed the journey with a touch of history.

Meg and I took a quick trip to Masinloc, Zambales to spend time with Em. We stayed at her place and caught up over good food and stories. August 25-26, 2024

Our quick weekend escape to Tagaytay with my balikbayan friend Rachel and her family was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We enjoyed the scenic views of Taal Volcano, shared laughs over hearty meals, and soaked in the cool mountain air. Afterward, we headed straight to SM North EDSA to catch the One Piece exhibition, where larger-than-life displays of Luffy and the Straw Hat crew brought so much excitement. It was a short but memorable trip filled with friendship, family time, and fun fandom moments.

A birthday getaway with Iris to Boracay. We stayed at Fairways and Bluewater Boracay, enjoying infinity pool views, quiet shoreline moments, and the sight of paraw’s along White Beach. The trip was the perfect mix of celebration, relaxation, and island beauty.

A quick family getaway to White Rock in Subic turned into a fun-filled escape by the sea. We spent our days trying out the giant inflatable water park, paddling kayaks across calm waters, and soaking up the relaxing coastal vibe. The evenings were just as memorable, with the cool breeze and golden skies making the sunsets even more magical. It was the perfect mix of play, relaxation, and quality time with family.

My trip to Singapore was a mix of modern cityscapes and green escapes. Marina Bay Sands and the skyline showed the city’s vibrant side, while Gardens by the Bay brought nature indoors. The Merlion, Singapore Flyer, and Universal Studios added iconic and fun stops, and the Harry Potter Exhibition was a magical highlight of the journey.

My trip to Malaysia combined the buzz of Kuala Lumpur with the heritage charm of Melaka. Kuala Lumpur’s skyline and the Petronas Twin Towers lit up the nights, while Melaka’s colorful riverfront, historic forts, and cultural landmarks showed the country’s rich past. It was a journey of modern cityscapes and timeless heritage.

My South Korea trip with Sheila was unforgettable—it was my first time experiencing winter! We explored Busan’s colorful Gamcheon Culture Village, the stunning Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, and the bustling harbor views. In Seoul, we visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan Tower, and the Han River. As a BTS Army, it was also special to see their famous spots, making the whole trip even more meaningful.

Bataan, Philippines
July 29-30, 2023

For an early birthday trip, we stayed at The Bataan White Corals Beach Resort in Morong. Despite the heavy rain and stormy weather, we still made the most of it—swimming in the pool, enjoying the cabanas, and experiencing the dramatic waves of the sea. The storm added a unique touch to the trip, making it both unforgettable and fun.

Quick getaway with cousins and family in Pampanga, staying at a resort near Café T.Y.S. The place was peaceful, with a pool, lounging spots, and that windmill cafe view which I really enjoyed. Even if I forgot the resort’s name, the memories of relaxing by the pool, good conversations, and the cozy cafe corner are unforgettable.

Zamboanga, Philippines
May 19-20, 2023

Our Zamboanga trip was a vibrant mix of history, culture, and nature. We started at Paseo del Mar and the colorful pier, before heading to the Fort Pilar Shrine and Museum, where we explored marine life exhibits and admired woven artworks. The Rainbow Mosque stood out with its striking colors, and Pasonanca Park charmed us with its traditional huts. A highlight was the visit to Sta. Cruz Island, known for its pinkish sand and clear waters, where we also captured a fun group photo by the shore. Traveling with friends made the experience even more memorable.

Visiting the Vatican was an unforgettable experience, filled with history, faith, and breathtaking art. From the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica and the lively atmosphere of St. Peter’s Square to the intricate statues and fountains that decorate the area, every corner spoke of centuries of devotion and artistry. The Angels Unaware sculpture was particularly moving, reminding us of compassion and humanity. Walking along Castel Sant’Angelo and its bridge of angels made the whole visit feel like stepping into a living museum of faith and culture.

Rome was a beautiful mix of history and flavor. From exploring legendary landmarks like the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain, every corner felt like stepping into a storybook. In between sightseeing, I indulged in pizza al taglio, creamy pasta like Bucatini all’Amatriciana, crispy calamari fritti, refreshing glasses of wine, and of course, the famous gelato. A trip that was truly a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.

Paris was pure magic—wandering through the Louvre, marveling at the Eiffel Tower, strolling Montmartre, and soaking in history at the Arc de Triomphe and Sacré-Cœur. Between art, architecture, and café culture, every corner of the city felt like a postcard.

Münster, Germany
March 18-24, 2023

Our stay in Münster, Germany was filled with a mix of history, culture, and relaxation. From the grand Schloss Münster and the Gothic St. Paul’s Cathedral, to the charming streets of Prinzipalmarkt with its arcades and merchant houses, the city showcased timeless beauty. We enjoyed evening strolls by the harbor, where colorful lights reflected on the water, and soaked in the local charm at Großer Kiepenkerl Gasthaus. Between admiring architectural landmarks like the Historical Courthouse and taking quiet moments in the parks and side streets, Münster gave us a perfect balance of vibrance and tranquility.
