Who AM i

Why I Started this site?

Travel has always been more than visiting new places for me. It’s about the little memories — a quiet street, a local meal, or a conversation with strangers who became friends. I created this space to keep those memories alive and share them with others who love exploring too. Through this blog, I hope my stories and reflections can inspire you to make your own adventures more meaningful.

My Purpose

To keep my travel memories alive while sharing honest tips, guides, and reflections that others might find helpful.

My Goal

To make Incubhabe a welcoming space where readers can enjoy stories, get inspired to travel, and find ideas that fit their own pace and budget.

What Matters Here

Authenticity: Every story comes from my real experiences.
Simplicity: Tips that are easy to follow and practical.
Connection: A place where travel moments and lessons are shared.

My Story

How Incubhabe began…

I’m Imee Ogues, a traveler from the Philippines who loves exploring new places, keeping memories, and sharing little lessons from the road. I started Incubhabe as a way to document my own trips — from wandering through the streets of Europe to chasing sunsets in Vietnam and Japan. Over time, it’s become more than a diary. It’s where I share stories, tips, and reflections that connect travel with self-love and everyday inspiration.

For me, travel isn’t about picture-perfect itineraries. It’s about the moments that stay with you — a quiet shrine visit in Tokyo, laughter with friends in Hanoi, or the joy of seeing Mt. Fuji for the first time. Through this space, I hope my stories help you plan, dream, and enjoy your own adventures with confidence.

How I Create Travel Guides

I write Incubhabe as a traveler first. When I create a guide, I try to explain the questions I would ask before planning the same trip: where to stay, how much time to allow, what to book ahead, what can stay flexible, what mistakes to avoid, and how the experience feels for an ordinary traveler.

Some articles are based on my own travel memories and photos. Others are planning guides created to help readers compare destinations, routes, activities, and booking options. I aim to keep the tone honest and useful, especially for Filipino travelers and first-time visitors who want clear, friendly planning advice.

Editorial Promise

  • I separate personal experience, planning advice, and affiliate recommendations as clearly as possible.
  • I update important guides when details change or when a better reader-first angle is needed.
  • I prefer practical tips, realistic pacing, and useful comparisons over generic destination descriptions.
  • I use original or realistic images whenever possible so the site feels trustworthy and review-ready.
